We would like to take the time to highlight and thank our most recent donor. This June a generous donation was made to the WHF by Megan Friggens, in memory of her late husband, Michael Friggens. Michael was a person of great passion for life, his family, and true champion of the environment. His lifelong accomplishments in the Peace Corp, research that contributed to the formation of a national park in Bolivia, and his work in the field at Sevilleta National Park speaks volumes towards his commitment to see a balance between sustainability and preservation.
The White Hawk Foundation shares Michaels commitment to protecting the environment and his donation will go a long way in protecting the Osa Peninsula, where 2.5% of the worlds biodiversity is held.
To Megan, Michael and to all of your family and friends, we thank you greatly for this kind donation.
Lana, Jim, Jenna and Charlotte
